Vintage Figgjo, Norway
6-1/8" Wall Plaque
Turi-Design (Turi Gramstadt Oliver), Hand Painted Silkscreen
A wonderfully designed 6-sided wall plaque (or trivet) in the "Lotte" design, made by Figgjo Flint of Norway. It features a very whimsical man holding flowers, in rich shades of blue, green, and purple; there is a hole through his hat for hanging. This colorful plaque is marked "Turi-Design," which I believe refers to Turi Gramstadt Oliver (according to google!), who first created this pattern in the late 1960s. It is also marked "handpainted silkscreen."
This nice wall hanging measures 6-1/8 inches from top to bottom and 4.25 inches wide across the widest part of the middle. The plaque is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks or crazing.
The bottom has a detailed blue mark that reads turi-design / Lotte / made in FF norway / handpainted / silkscreen.
