Arizona the Copper State
1950s Gold Design on Coupe Shape
This listing is for a vintage collector's plate for Arizona, "The Copper State," decorated in rich gold designs on a coupe (smooth) body. The plate measures 7.25 inches; it does not have a maker's mark that I can see (looks much like similar plates made by Salem and Canonsburg).
The plate is in very good to excellent condition, with rich gold glaze and designs. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or signs of use or wear. The front features scenes of the State Capitol, a Rug Weaver, Coolidge Dam, Grand Canyon, Sand Painter, and (in the center) the Saguaro Forest.
Please note that some of the pictures were taken with flash, others were in natural light, which is why the plate may look lighter or darker or have white spots in the photos.
