Pink Roses, Yellow Border, Gold Trim
A lovely small creamer with an elegant handle, hand-painted pink roses on both sides and on the front, with a yellow band running around the rim, and gold trim.
This piece measures 2-1/8 inches high at the spout tip, 2 inches wide across the foot, and 3-5/8 inches from the handle end to tip of the spout. It is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or fleabites that I can see. The pink roses with green leaves are very intact, as is the gold stems and trim. The gold has a very little bit of wear on the edges of the handle.
This antique creamer has a blue "rising sun" mark that reads "Hand Painted / Nippon." The gotheborg site for Japanese porcelain marks indicates this mark is associated with early Noritake.
